I-277 Caldwell Street Interchange project in Charlotte, NC completely rebuilt this interchange to provide the additional land for development and enhanced access for the new Nascar Hall of Fame. Blythe Development was responsible for construction of the large interchange including some unique aspects of bridge widening, a 72" utility tunnel under I-277, installation of over 1100 feet of 96" reinforced concrete pipe, miles of conduit duct bank, retaining walls, concrete barrier, concrete paving, cross walks and asphalt paving while maintaining traffic in this busy intersection.
